Equal Employment Opportunity (Manager and Supervisor)

This course provides managers and supervisors with an understanding of equal employment opportunity (EEO) and discrimination. This course refers to state and federal legislation in Australia.

Topics covered are:

•  Demonstrate an understanding of what equal employment opportunity (EEO) means
•  Describe behaviour that is considered unlawful discrimination and defences and exceptions
•  Recognise how organisations should manage internal complaints
•  Recognise what happens when an individual makes an external complaint
•  Define your role and responsibility as a manager or supervisor to ensure your workplace is free of discrimination
