Demonstrating Psychological Safety

Being vulnerable at work can be difficult. In this fifth of five episodes of Season 1 of A Lot Like Mike, experienced leader Mike continues to take ownership of his mistakes and courageously shares his desire to be better. Mike demonstrates his commitment to creating trust and an environment of psychological safety. Sue challenges Mike with a provocative question, and Monica steps out of her comfort zone with a brave request for Mike. Following the short episode, subject matter expert Kahlilah Guyah observes how the key elements for creating trust through psychological safety are demonstrated with a focus on sponsorship. Based on recent McKinsey research, this series focuses on teaching the most under-developed skills in corporate learning.
