How to be More Inclusive
Overview
Inclusion can feel like a daunting value to take seriously, and small wonder: Ensuring that your organization embodies inclusion at all stages of the employee life cycle takes real work, time and accountability. But you don't have to start from scratch, or do it alone. In this course, instructor Kelsey Bardfield will walk you through the concrete steps you can take to help your team be more inclusive when it comes to race, gender, age, and personality. She'll share the role privilege plays in undermining supposedly equal policies, and why equitable policies are the better choice. From candidate sourcing to interviewing, you'll be able to improve your hiring processes and be able to host meetings that enable participation from your entire team. By courses end you'll know exactly how to help your employees feel comfortable bringing more of themselves to work. It's often the hardest things that are the most worth doing and inclusion is no exception, which is why you'll find this course so valuable.
